First Visit

Your initial appointment will consist of an examination, a gum evaluation, and a review of your treatment options. Usually, cleaning can be done or started on the same day as the consultation. However, a complex medical history or treatment plan will require an evaluation and a second appointment to provide treatment on another day. We allow 2 hours for new patient appointments.

Check out our Frequently Asked Questions (Before your Visit FAQ) page and New Patient Forms here:

New Patient Forms will also be sent to you through email via one of our platforms (NexHealth Enlive) after you make your appointment. There you inform us of your medical, and dental history and review and sign our office policies. We can NOT proceed further with your appointment unless your forms are submitted.

IMPORTANT: All patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Please make sure to state in your forms if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to treatment (i.e., diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves, and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are currently taking any medication (i.e., heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.).

UNDERSTANDING YOUR INSURANCE

Having dental insurance or a dental benefit plan can make it easier to get the dental care you need. But most dental benefit plans do not cover all dental procedures. Your dental coverage is NOT based on what you need or your dentist's recommendations. It is based on how much your employer pays into your plan.

When deciding on treatment, dental benefits should not be the only factor you consider. Your treatment should be determined by you and your dentist.

For your convenience, we have compiled a thorough guide to help understand how dental coverage works
